Project Overview.

In January 2024, Murals.ng completed “Mamichula,” a large-scale hand-painted mural for a beach club featuring indoor restaurants and a rooftop bar. The mural, which was designed digitally before being hand-painted directly onto the wall, adds a vibrant and engaging touch to the outdoor beach area lounge. This artwork transforms the space into a lively and inviting environment.

Additionally, we provided two hand-painted murals and stretched canvas murals throughout the building, including the first Egungun stretched canvas mural and the Lekk-Ikoyi link bridge hand-drawn mural.

Client Vision.

Our client envisioned a mural that would stand up to the elements of an outdoor beach area, requiring an indestructible design. To achieve this, the mural was hand-painted directly onto the wall, ensuring durability and resilience in the open air.

The client desired a vibrant and colorful artwork that captured the essence of a lively beachside environment.

Previously, the client had acquired art for the space from regular vendors, but they were looking for something more refined and unique—something that would stand out and truly transform the space.

Project Scope.

It features the sun, shimmering water, and playful interactions around the shore, along with iconic palm trees that emphasize the beach setting. The final piece was designed to bring a pop of color and an inviting, cheerful atmosphere to the lounge area, perfectly aligning with the client’s vision for a dynamic and engaging space.

The objective of Mamichula was to evoke the joy and relaxation of seaside leisure, depicting scenes of people enjoying themselves by the water.

Execution Process.

The process began with our digital artist creating a detailed design, which was then hand-painted onto the wall by our in-house artist.

Meticulously painting the mural directly onto the wall, ensuring both the resilience needed for an outdoor setting and a striking visual impact. This was executed with precision to guarantee the artwork’s longevity and seamless integration into the beachside lounge, resulting in a dynamic and inviting space that perfectly aligns with the client’s vision.
