Okija

Project Okija is a large-scale cultural art intervention inside a contemporary resort in Okija, Anambra. We conceived and executed 17 hand-painted mural walls as an integrated storytelling system, translating Igbo heritage into spatial experience at architectural scale. From Nsibidi symbols and ancestral figures to masquerades, elders, native huts, and symbolic motifs, each surface was designed to carry memory, identity, and meaning. The result is a living cultural environment where guests don't just see art, they move through story.
