Named for Ọya — Yoruba sovereign of wind, transition, and the boundary between worlds — this relic carries the intelligence of absolute discernment at the threshold. Ọya does not protect through force. She governs through authority: the one who stands at every crossing between states and determines what has earned the right to pass. This instrument is made for spaces that must communicate a change in order the moment someone enters. Engineered in high-density cast composite with an oxidised bronze and gold patination — the darker tonal register deliberate, encoding the gravity of a force that governs rather than greets. The mask is architecturally scaled and hand-finished, with inscribed surface language tooled to precise geometric specification. The backing panel carries Yoruba threshold iconography parametrically mapped and executed in structural precision relief. Designed specifically for foyer and entry installation.
