About the Work
a recognition object for identity, authorship, and cross-space presence. For founders and institutions who want the wall to carry a visible mark of belonging. INSIGNIA 01 is developed from the design logic of the Ase Protocol — a Pan-African identity system engineered to function as a mark of recognition across physical and digital space. Its frontal geometric face, layered linear routing, and crown-like upper register draw on the geometric intelligence of Yoruba Ọnà inscription, the logic of scarification as identity mapping, and the disciplined frontalism of prestige masks. Pattern here is not decorative. It is recognitional. The result is a wall surface that functions simultaneously as portrait, insignia, and identity interface — designed not only to hold meaning in a room, but to operate as a signature across worlds. Made for founders, collectors, and institutions whose presence must be authored and legible. Installed, the space carries a visible mark of authorship — one that moves across interior space, cultural context, and future-facing digital ecosystems.
